Kristen is a former college-level English instructor turned software engineer (enjoying using semi-colons in a completely new context!). She values empathic, diverse teams with clear values and consistent communication and uses her ability to connect with people to strengthen the beating heart of a team. Her work places emphasis on the intersection of user-centric design and clean, readable code.

In her free time in San Francisco, she bakes pies, gushes over other people's dogs and competes in the world's largest trivia contest.
